System Driven Quality Control Procedure ----
At MetalMech we believe that if you have your system in place than you will have a total control on the Quality. The quality control process is exercised at every step of the production right from the step when we purchase the raw material to the time when the product is finally delivered to the customer.

New orders begin with a comprehensive process planning that is designed to maximize productivity and minimize cost. This planning includes the selection of most appropriate materials, equipments, machining, finishing and packaging requirements.

Quality and Production Control Stages ---
Stage 1: Material Procurement:
We begin by sourcing the superior quality of the metals from the leading manufacturers according to the standards and the chemical composition specified by our customer. We also maintain all the chemical composition certificates of these companies in our library so that the material can be traced back to the manufacturers.

Stage 2: Processing:

Our attention to the details is one of the things that separates us from the others. At METALMECH we have developed strict operating procedures to guarantee a uniform and consistent manner of processing jobs. From setting up and running jobs each operation is planned and tracked by our departmental head.

Stage 3: In-Process Inspection:
When setting up a new job, the drawings of that component are placed at each level of production and the supervisor makes sure that the machine operator understands and interpret drawings perfectly and the necessary tolerance levels are also made available to him all the time.

We have provided and educated our workforce to use various types of checking instruments including verniers, micrometers, plug gauge, ring gauge etc. All the machine operators have at their disposal all the checking instruments to ensure minimal deviations in the parameters of the part that is being operated.

We regularly get all our gauges calibrated from very reputed Labs. While production a strong vigil is kept by the quality supervisor on the workforce to see that they are checking the material at pre-determined intervals. These intervals are calculated by the quality supervisor in consultation with the operator of the machine.

Stage 4: Final Inspection:
At the completion of each operation the material is checked again by the dedicated workforce to see that no faulty or non-confirming parts get passed on to the next level of processing. This results in the time and effort saving for us.

Finally after completion of all the operations a final inspection takes place by our dedicated quality maintenance workforce and the major dimensions are once again checked to separate the non confirming parts.

Finishing and Plating ---
Every part is thoroughly cleaned and degreased before shipping. We remove silvers from knurls, break sharp corners with chamfers & corner breaks thereby ensuring that the parts are free of cut-off burrs.

We have finishes for every standard or special parts, including bright nickel, black nickel, chrome, zinc, nitric, gold, silver and other variations . Quality control continues through the finishing process with a re-check of part dimensions after plating.

Test certificates of the Micron Material Plating are submitted to the client on demand.

Packaging ---
One of the things that we believe sets us apart from other suppliers is the care we take in shipping the merchandise. Each item is double boxed in order to prevent damage during shipping. Also, each line item is individually labeled with any pertinent information that you may require.

If you require particular packaging units or if the repackaging is supposed to comply with particular criteria, this can be taken into account individually. Company symbols, parts numbers, or pallet packing : there are hardly any limits to what you can request.
     
 
INNER PACKAGING:
Packed in high quality corrugated boxes with Labels describing Item code, Size and Quantity on each box. Boxes are further packed in big plastic poly bags making the cargo water proof.

OUTER PACKAGING:
Inner Boxes are place in Strong high quality Corrugated cartons. These outer boxes are further covered with Jute bags which makes them temper proof. Properly marked the destination, lot size and number of individual carton are mentioned clearly on each package.
